You removed [https://www.mariowiki.com/index.php?title=Luigi&diff=2415584&oldid=2415265 this information] twice now, and it's perfectly valid information. Before you go removing it again (in which case, you will receive a warning for doing so), please tell me why you think this information should be removed. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 20:51, 26 March 2018 (EDT)
I removed this information because it is way too farfetched.
Red, blue, green and yellow are the most common colors in many logo or videogames, and by assuming that each time these four colors are seen together, this is a reference to the SNES controller is absurd.
For example, the Windows logo, the Chrome logo, the eBay logo, the MSN logo, the letters in the SM3DL logo, the Xbox buttons all use these four colors.
And they are not a SNES reference by any means.
In Super Mario Odyssey, Luigi does not even always have 3 balloons (red, blue and yellow). He can have a total of 5 different color balloons (purple and green) or only one or two balloons.
In-game, Luigi must only have three balloons (not one or two) and then, we can imagine a tilted PAL SNES controller for it to correspond to the colors of the balloons and the hat of Luigi (since the green button is on the left, and not the bottom of the controller)... This is way too farfetched.
Furthermore, the official Luigi Balloon World artwork does not even match the in-game balloons color (or SNES button).
In other words, this is a very weak coincidence.
:[https://twitter.com/Iyagovos/status/967013003597107200 Here is one example]. All other examples you listed, yes they do use those colors, but they are not arranged in the same manner. True, Luigi can have more and/or different colors balloons, but I personally have only seen this example in New Donk City. Is it possible they are only arranged in such a way there? {{User:Alex95/sig}} 23:30, 27 March 2018 (EDT)
:[https://gyazo.com/52502e16549def7895d934efb6e0ab25 Here is the SM3DL, Windows and MSN logo]. By tilting the images like I did (like the picture you sent me with the SNES controller) we can make any coincidences appear.
:[https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ZZmzAuvYCJw/0.jpg And here is Luigi with other balloons in Lost Kingdom.]
There is no evidence that the 3 balloons Luigi is a clear reference to a tilted PAL SNES controller.
By this logic, the the Windows logo and the MSN logo are as much referenced by the 3 balloons Luigi.
This is why I think this should not be on the wiki.
:Your Lost Kingdom looks more like Wooden Kingdom, but whatever. It still shows that the same arrangement of balloons isn't just in Metro Kingdom. I've seen points for both sides of this argument, but just conversing with me isn't going to get a community decision. Suggesting the removal of this information should be discussed on Luigi's talk page rather than your own. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 18:21, 28 March 2018 (EDT)
