:::But Nintendo Land isn't a Mario game, so those minigame articles are about Mario-inspired subjects that have never been in a Mario game, like the Zelda articles. The thing separating it from Animal Crossing furniture is that Link's Awakening and Nintendo Land are both classified as [[MarioWiki:Coverage#Guest appearances|guest appearances]], which no Animal Crossing game is. {{User:Hewer/sig}} 07:09, July 2, 2024 (EDT)

::::Perhaps my point wasn't clear. Nintendo Land is absolutely a guest appearance because entities '''from the ''Mario'' series''' appear in it. [[Luigi's Ghost Mansion]], for example, features Mii costumes of Mario, Luigi, and Wario, ''Mario'' characters, running throughout Luigi's Mansion, a ''Mario'' series setting, fighting ''Mario'' enemies like Gold Ghost. All of these things have an appearance in ''Mario'' games. When you look at something like Bombite, it has no appearance in any ''Mario'' games; therefore, even though it is visually similar to a Bob-Omb, I cannot see how that can be considered a cameo or a guest appearance. My point is that these ''Zelda'' pages have no appearance in anything in the ''Mario'' series. Aside from being inspired by Piranha Plants, Manhandla has no connection to the ''Mario'' universe. How can something that isn't even from the ''Mario'' universe by a cameo or a guest appearance ''on behalf of the ''Mario'' franchise'' in a different franchise? When we're saying "guest appearance", we're talking about something ''from '''Mario''''' appearing in another game.Β  Bombite, Manhandla, etc. are not ''from'' the ''Mario'' series, so how can they be a guest appearance? {{User:DrBaskerville/sig}} 13:48, July 2, 2024 (EDT)
