| This is not a wiki about Nintendo consoles and what functions they have; the primary purpose for the console articles we have is for what games are on the system. Splitting off Sleep Mode is the sort of thing that should have had some discussion first, and I don't think it warrants an article due to simply being a common function on modern consoles with little to no relation to the Mario franchise. Any game which does have a unique function with Sleep Mode can just be covered on the game article. 09:16, August 17, 2024 (EDT) | | This is not a wiki about Nintendo consoles and what functions they have; the primary purpose for the console articles we have is for what games are on the system. | :I had made a guess that Sleep Mode had been used for specific purposes in a fair few Super Mario games, most particularly Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 which had unusually many options for it; and relatively famously Super Mario 64 DS and it's "Bye-Bye!" voice clip. While I acknowledge that I've had some bad luck with other articles I've made in the past, I accept the verdict on the deletion. | Tabber isn't being used anymore per this proposal (and it wasn't approved for the level infobox anyway), please don't add it to any more pages. -- 11:43, August 17, 2024 (EDT)

| :Huh. Good to know. Essentially I had noticed e.g. https://www.mariowiki.com/index.php?title=Busted!_(WarioWare,_Inc.:_Mega_Microgame$!)&diff=4248615&oldid=4218410 by User:GuntherBayBeee, to which I began thinking "He's probably onto something important. Perhaps it's even the recommended approach nowadays." Turns out now that it wasn't. 😅 DandelionSprout (talk) 11:48, August 17, 2024 (EDT)

| Summaries are not a place to complain or vent. Please stop using them for that. 12:07, September 6, 2024 (EDT)

| :Hmm, okay, I guess that's fair. At the time (earlier this afternoon) I wasn't sure how else to get attention to the topic since the proposal had passed relatively recently, but I've decided to try at Template talk:Foreign names instead, so you can feel safe about no complaints in any future summaries as it stands.
