Sorry for butting in, although I can make a response. There is no set point to be promoted. You should be active, make quality ''and'' quantifiable edits, have a good attitude, be mature, be kind, be responsible... if it makes you a trustworthy user, go for it. It won't guarantee adminship, but it does increase your chances. Finally, getting adminship is no big deal, and I find it to be a misnomer.
