:The claim of lack of information is a separate matter, but I believe that the Power Moon attribute was adequately explained in my revision of the article. On the other hand, the splitting of the articles resulted in a loss of information, including not mentioning the previously present fact that Drill Mario would activate beacons. Thank you for investigating this matter! I hope that the wiki can provide a definitive resource for these subjects. ::We know that the glowing spot in Super Mario 3D World and Super Mario Odyssey are, at minimum, the same thing because the creators of those games call it by the same name in both instances, and Super Mario Odyssey contains the expansion of many concepts first introduced in SM3DW, such as 8-bit characters. Rather than visuals, I think the beacon in Super Mario Bros. Wonder has more varied functions and is generally more ubiquitous in its levels than glowing spots, and this is substantiated by the fact that the people who created this object refer to it be a different name. However, the lack of information is the more important matter. We write the articles so that they can be read by the public, and their quality reflects the site at large. Again, I appreciate the initiative and you did not do anything wrong, but I hope you keep this in mind when you create new articles in the future. - Nintendo101 (talk) 16:29, March 24, 2025 (EDT)
