Do you have a response to Hewer's comment? I personally agree with him that the proposal is unnecessary, not to mention it feels like a knee-jerk reaction to a single edit that declared those proposals implemented without checking to see if the relevant policy pages had been updated to account for them. It's better to crop directly from the original file to preserve the original quality and format (so it's not like a png that looks like a jpg, in some cases). As for the ones already uploaded, what's done is done, but in the future, best to save the image directly and use that. If you're getting those Nintendo Power scans from Archive.org, though (like [https://archive.org/details/nintendopowerissue006mayjune1989/page/n17/mode/2up this]), they can use reuploading anyway since the images there are actually bigger than the ones you uploaded (all the more reason to use the source image rather than screenshotting the webpage). {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 04:30, March 2, 2023 (EST)
