"After that" and "However" mark the start of new sentences, so in cases like this, use periods to make separate sentences. Recall what I said above regarding plural verbs for singular subjects. e.g. "When the player step on a button" and "When the player land on Bowser Space" - Since it's ''one'' player, use "steps" and "lands", not "step" and "land".
