'''Tracey West''' (born October 1, 1965) is a children’s book author raised in New Jersey, where she studied English and Journalism at {{wp|Rutgers University}}. She has written officially licensed books based on television cartoon shows and video game series, including the [[bulbapedia:Pokémon anime|''Pokémon'' anime]]. She wrote two titles for the ''Nintendo Heroes'' series, which include the book of the series ''[[zeldawiki:The Legend of Zelda (Series)|The Legend of Zelda]]'' called ''[[zeldawiki:Link and the Portal of Doom|Link and the Portal of Doom]]'' and her only entry of the [[Super Mario (franchise)|''Super Mario'' franchise]], ''[[Mario and the Incredible Rescue]]''.  
Tracey was born in 1965 and raised in New Jersey, where she studied English and Journalism at [[Wikipedia:Rutgers University|Rutgers University]].
