The minigame stars [[Tails]] | The minigame stars [[Tails]] who must climb {{wp|Tokyo Tower}} to retrieve [[Silver]]'s [[entry pass]]es to the Tokyo Aquatic Center and Aomi Urban Sports Park that he dropped while climbing Tokyo Tower. Tails uses holds to traverse the tower. There are different types of holds: Tails can stay on blue holds for up to nine seconds, yellow holds for up to seven seconds, red holds for up to five seconds, and rainbow-colored checkpoint holds for 15 seconds. There are also Springs that bounce Tails higher up the tower, [[Bumper (Sonic the Hedgehog)|Bumpers]] that can bounce Tails off the tower, and spiked balls which can knock Tails down. Colliding into spiked balls or falling off the tower result in a penalty, causing Tails to lose 15 seconds. Tails retrieves the entry passes once he reaches the top of the tower. | ||
