'''Tower Climb''' is a [[minigame]] in ''[[Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020]]'' that can be played through [[Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020#Story Mode|Story Mode]] or the [[Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020#Game Room|Game Room]].

The minigame stars [[Tails]] who must climb {{wp|Tokyo Tower}} to retrieve [[Silver]]'s [[entry pass]]es to the Tokyo Aquatic Center and Aomi Urban Sports Park that he dropped while climbing Tokyo Tower. Silver states that if Tails can retrieve them that he and [[Luigi]] can use them which leads to Tails climb Tokyo Tower, starting the minigame. Tails uses holds to traverse the tower, there are different types of holds, Tails can stay on blue holds for up to 9 seconds, yellow holds for up to 7 seconds, red holds for up to 5 seconds, and rainbow-colored checkpoint holds for 15 seconds. There are also Springs that bounce Tails higher up the tower, [[Bumper (Sonic the Hedgehog)|Bumpers]] that can knock you off the tower and [[Spiked ball (Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020)|spiked balls]] which can knock Tails. Knocking spiked balls or falling off the tower result in a penalty, making you lose 15 seconds. Tails retrieves the entry passes once he reaches the top of the tower.
