The '''tourist''' is a recurring character in the [[Mario is Missing! (PC)|PC]], [[Mario is Missing! (Super Nintendo Entertainment System)|SNES]], and [[Mario is Missing! (Nintendo Entertainment System)|NES versions of ''Mario is Missing!'']] He is depicted as a plump adult man with a camera hanging with its turtleneck. [[Luigi]] can find the tourist in every city he goes to. Luigi can ask the tourist hints on the location Luigi is travelling to or ask him about the artifacts that Luigi is holding. In the PC versions, Luigi can also ask the tourist where he saw the nearby [[Koopa Troopa|Koopa]] stating the cardinal or ordinal directions of the Koopa's location.
