"'''Totaka's Song'''" is a short, nineteen-note theme composed by [[Kazumi Totaka]] that he has inserted into most games where he has been a composer or sound director. This theme is usually hidden and serves as an [[Easter egg]], only able to be heard after meeting certain conditions. It was first included in ''{{wp|X (1992 video game)|X}}'' for the [[Game Boy]] in 1992, and its first appearance in a ''[[Super Mario (franchise)|Super Mario]]''-related title was in ''[[Mario Paint]]'', also in 1992. It has since been featured in several other games within and outside the ''Super Mario'' franchise, including the ''[[nookipedia:Animal Crossing (series)|Animal Crossing]]'' series as [[nookipedia:K.K. Song|K.K. Song]].
