'''Topis''' are small round creatures with white fur coats. They normally inhabit arctic climates. Topis are common enemies of the [[Ice Climber]]s, but they also appear as a trophy and in the stage [[Icicle Mountain]] in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]''.

A beta screenshot showed that the Topis were going to be miniature seals. This was later removed in the game, however, due to people thinking that striking these seals was animal cruelty.
