The Ticket is an item in the PC release of Mario's Time Machine. It is a lecture ticket that grants entry to one of Michael Faraday's Royal Institution Christmas Lectures. Mario receives it in 1831 (despite Faraday not giving a lecture in that year) from a youth who is a big fan of Faraday. As Mario and the youth are talking, he remembers that he has an extra ticket and, as Mario says that he has never heard one of Faraday's lectures, he gives it to him. Mario then gives the ticket to Charles-Gaspard de la Rive, a colleague of Faraday's who mentions to Mario that he has lost his own ticket. After receiving the Ticket, de la Rive thanks Mario and continues talking to him about Faraday and his scientific experiments.
