The '''Throne''' is an item in the [[ | The '''Throne''' is an item in the [[Nintendo Entertainment System|NES]] release of ''[[Mario's Time Machine]]''. It is the royal throne used by [[Cleopatra]] during her reign. At some point in 31 BC, it is stolen by a time-traveling [[Bowser]] and moved to [[Bowser's Museum|his museum]] with the other items that he stole from time. It is also guarded by some [[Koopa Troopa]]s that are defeated by [[Mario]] after he enters the museum. After defeating them, Mario takes the Throne and travels back in time to [[Egypt]]. While there, he meets Cleopatra, who gives him a hint about needing the Throne without expliciting saying that her throne is missing. Nevertheless, Mario returns the Throne to its rightful place, and a news article appears, congratulating Mario for letting Cleopatra reign for years to come. | ||
