Really? A notice template for users only? If is mainly user oriented, I say we should delete. And if you really want a template like this, I suggest you make it yourself in your userpage. If you can make it yourself in your userpage, then I say this template is useless.

Plus, even if it is hardly used, it will save more space to have everyone use the template than to write it all out on their userspace. I'm sure if it got more attention, it would be used more often.

Of course it's not going to be used by everyone at the present moment, I mean, what are the odds that everyone goes on vacation (or wherever) at the same exact time? -Do we really need this? It's hardly ever used and Users can easily place a status bar or something on their userpage to say that they're on vacation. In fact, no active user is using it at all right now. People really don't go on vacation that often. They go inactive far more often, yet the [[Template talk:Gone|Gone template]] was deleted (for the same reasons I think this one should be). Yes, I see the proposal above, but it didn't fail by a very big margin.<br>
