Plus, even if it is hardly used, it will save more space to have everyone use the template than to write it all out on their userspace. :::What says notice templates should be preserved just for the mainspace? It is beneficial, as, if people would actually use it, it would let people know when they're going and when they'll be back. Do we really need this? It's hardly ever used and Users can easily place a status bar or something on their userpage to say that they're on vacation. In fact, no active user is using it at all right now. People really don't go on vacation that often. They go inactive far more often, yet the [[Template talk:Gone|Gone template]] was deleted (for the same reasons I think this one should be). Yes, I see the proposal above, but it didn't fail by a very big margin.<br>
