It is given to [[Mario]] by a telegram office's worker, who mentions that he is interested in collecting [[Postcard]]s from across the world. Once he receives a Postcard from [[Menlo Park]] from Mario, he continues to talk about the local inventor, [[Thomas Edison]], and asks Mario to deliver the Telegram to the local druggist. The pharmacist also mentions that he is waiting for a telegram from his brother (who is working with Edison on his inventions), and refuses to talk further about Edison until he receives. After the Telegram is delivered to him, he reads its contents out loud to Mario, detailing how Thomas Edison is close to a breakthrough with the [[wikipedia:Incandescent light bulb|incandescent light bulb]], paving the way for new innovations such as electrical power plants and motion pictures.
