| ==Alien Guys==
| |
| I know this might not be what they are supposed to be, but the Alien Shy Guys in this game remind me of Captain Shy Guy from Mario Party 8. (Speaking of which, I feel like Captain Shy Guy is probably only the name of that one specific Alien Shy Guy that calls himself Captain Shy Guy.) Should we say that the Alien Guys are the same thing as the "Captain Shy Guy"s from Mario Party 8? Luigi1234 (talk) 14:14, May 9, 2019 (EDT)

| == Conjectural enemy names ==
| |
| A few enemies without official names just have N/A as their name, yet Zombig Guys and Killer Clowns have conjectural names. The game has been out for 2 months, and I think we should have added conjectural names for the rest by now. | :Regarding the Shy Guy enemies, and the "Ukirilla" group, i think it'd be the safest to have every "Ukirilla" in one article, while we should wait for material for the Shy Guy enemies. -- 02:14, May 23, 2019 (EDT)
| |
| ::But what about the rest? There's also the squirrel creatures, rolling prickly creatures, tinfoil Mels, and blue alien squids. Obsessive Mario Fan (talk) 15:19, May 23, 2019 (EDT)
| |
| :::Regarding the tinfoil Mel, it'd be best to look at Yoshi's Island material, to see if it's indeed a separate entity from Mel. -- 12:31, May 27, 2019 (EDT)

| |
| I want to put a * by some enemies to indicate it debuted here, since new and returning are in the same table. | ==Original source for gallery artwork==
| |
| On this game's gallery page, most of the artwork is cited as being from Fandom's Nintendo Wiki, uploaded by the user PolynomialChaos. However, I tried to research the original source from where PolynomialChaos found these images, and came across several other galleries of Yoshi's Crafted World artwork:

| *Tons of Yoshi’s Crafted World art - Nintendo Everything

| |
| Nintendo's official Yoshi's Crafted World website also features most of this artwork.
| |
|
| |
| Crucially, however, none of these sources feature the artwork at the same, very high resolution as on Fandom's Nintendo Wiki, which this wiki sourced the images from. Excluding Neoseeker and the official Nintendo website, all of these sources were published on February 3, 2019, and mention Nintendo releasing this artwork themselves, but none of them provide a link to the artwork's original source, and I can't find said source anywhere. The original source is very unlikely to be internal files from the game itself, as the game wasn't released until March 29, 2019.

| |
| Does anyone have more information on the direct source of this artwork? 12:51, August 20, 2022 (EDT)

| :An update: On Fandom's Nintendo Wiki, PolynomialChaos has uploaded countless images, some of which being images of characters from Rhythm Heaven Megamix. On PolynomialChaos's message wall, the user Wikiamem asked them about the source of these images, and they replied saying they were likely from one of Nintendo's press websites. The majority of websites that host Yoshi's Crafted World artwork are either from Nintendo themselves or American-based web publications reporting on Nintendo products; therefore, they are most likely sourcing this artwork from the Nintendo of America Press Center. However, the artwork at its original resolution is not uploaded in any of the Nintendo press kits on the Internet Archive, and I cannot find a valid login to Nintendo's press site to access the images myself. Would it be acceptable to list the Nintendo of America Press Center as the source of any artwork on this article's gallery page which was originally sourced from Fandom's Nintendo Wiki, or should I hold back until said original source is conclusively proven? Alternatively, if anyone else has access to the press site and can prove or disprove the source for themselves, please let me know. 23:19, August 28, 2022 (EDT)

| ::You should source Nintendo of America Press Center, but also mention that it's cited from Fandom's Wiki, kind of like how citations to paywalled scientific papers include a citation to a news article that shared the paper. That way it's clear in the future where people should look while we still keep these convincing uploads. 23:28, August 29, 2022 (EDT)
