| Well, if we are to take his Brawl trophy seriously (as in, how it speaks as if there are multiples), then Xananab is the species name. However, Brawl and Melee trophies have been wrong before. {{User:Lanky kong/sig}}

| :This might explain we he has a so generic name in the Japanese version (just called "Banana Star Resident"). Additionally, he says in the German version of ''Jungle Climber'' "Ich bin ein Xenanab", literally "I am ''a'' Xananab". | ::Well, there was the main Xananab that helped DK and friends out with the Spirowarp and such, but the official artwork for the Banana Spaceship shows two "Xananabs" piloting the ship, meaning one may have stayed behind on Sun Sun Island to tend to the broken spacecraft. {{User:Lanky kong/sig}}
