| :::::::So her name could be Wendy Orlean Koopa. But that is speculation which is not allowed on this wiki so the O. will remain a mystery. You could ask Nintendo if you want. Technickal 10:13, 4 December 2011 (EST)-

| ==Princess?==
| |
| Since Bowser is king, wouldn't that make Wendy a princess?
| |
|
| |
| | |
| WRONG! Remember Shigeru Miyamoto did that little interview and said that the Koopalings were actually NOT Bowser's children?
| |
| | |
| :Depends on the definition of Prince/Princess (and yes, there other types of Princes/Princesses besides those who are next in line to kingship/queenship due to blood ties). If you go by the definition of simply a person who rules over a sector of a kingdom and reports to the ruler without necessarily being a relative (in other words, similar to a Governor), she would technically qualify as a princess under that. | Also because she is King Koopa's daughter in the show she can keep her princess status that way. (talk)

| ==Can she have a chinese name?==
| |
| If there is a chinese name, I think 温迪 should be good. --220.255.211.219 00:49, 5 September 2014 (EDT)

| :We don't make the names, we just report them. Unless a Chinese version of a game (or a tie-in website or whatever) she's in has actually provided 温迪 as her name, we can't add it to the page. - 11:20, 5 September 2014 (EDT)

| == New voice in games ==
| |
| | |
| Regarding a recent edit that was made, the voice for Wendy was different in Mario Kart 8. This is the actress' resume, which lists the role in Mario Kart 8 <http://www.ashleyflannegan.com/#!documentary/ck0q>. I haven't seen any of the Koopalings in Smash so I can't attest to Ashley Flannegan being the latest portrayal or not. | == The 30th anniversary books' bios of Wendy O. Koopa ==
| |
| | |
| After a hiatus, I'm finally adding the bios for Wendy O. Koopa from the 30th Anniversary Books! Of course, like before these are just transcriptions with a bad tentative translations based on online translators, so help is needed! There she is called
| |
| | |
| Encyclopedia Super Mario Bros.

| Characters' pages bio<br />
| |
<br />

| Super Mario Bros. 3 enemies section<br />
| |
<br />
| |
| Boss of World 3. Attacks with a ring that flies around the screen.<br />
| |
| | |
| Super Mario World enemies section<br />
| |

<br />
| |
| The only female of the Koopalings. Girlish, she wears a big bow with polka dots on her head.<br />
| |
| | |
| Now, I had troubles with 「おしゃまでおてんば」 and 「女の子らしく」, the first should state that she's both a precocious girl (「おしゃま」) and a tomboy (「おてんば」), the second appears to state something like girlish, even though the Encyclopedia underlines that she's a tomboy.--Mister Wu (talk) 17:13, 14 April 2016 (EDT)

| ==What does Wendy say at the end of her battle in the Japanese version of Paper Mario: Color Splash?==
| |
| We now have also the Japanese video of the battle with Wendy, and this time there are no big surprises. Still, it would be interesting to understand what Wendy says in the end:<br />
| |
| <br />
| |
| |
| <br />
| |
| If I'm reading it correctly, Wendy says that she likes Mario, but I would like to know if I'm getting the meaning correctly.
| |
| | |
| == Um....==
| |
| Who Is She Referring To In Her Quote? Can't someone please edit it?
| |
| 108.46.243.200
| |
| :She's referring to Mario, Luigi and Paper Mario. But the quote only links to Mario, so something should be done about that.
