[[Talk:Watermelon (Yoshi's Island series)|An earlier comment by Somethingone]] has pointed out that there is little difference between the Yoshi's Island variant of the watermelon and the one that generally covers the appearances and I agree with that statement. The distinction between a "green watermelon" and just a regular watermelon has been blurred since it was renamed from green watermelon to just watermelon in later entries. Differences between the ones in Yoshi's Island practically just chalk up to some gameplay differences depending on the context of the game but so do every other item that are different across different genres of games. In addition, every other Super variant of the other watermelon's cousins (the Special Red Watermelon for example) are already merged with their article cleanly, so I also think this merge into the general watermelon article wouldn't be any less clean. | [[Talk:Watermelon (Yoshi's Island series)|An earlier comment by Somethingone]] has pointed out that there is little difference between the Yoshi's Island variant of the watermelon and the one that generally covers the appearances and I agree with that statement.
