Since Wario can only return to his own world with help of the Melfull Subjects, you must find one in every level. When you found a Melfull Subject, it will show you the location you must get to with a arrow. The game is obviously heavily influenced by its precursor, so it is likely that there's an equivalent of the Frog Switch, too.
