::::It still counts an appearance. It should be list in MK7's Category and etc.. But if this were to get deleted, there's a lot of other articles like this that should get deleted. You wouldn't delete an article because it's only had one appearance. And it's not necessarily a remake, people without MKDS could still mistakingly say that it's from MK7. - 17:23, 22 July 2014 (EDT)

:::::I will not delete an article just because it has only one appearance, and I have not stated that it should be deleted because it appears only once. My beef is that it's a insignificant stage hazard without an actual name. Stuff like King Bulbin and Lord Bullbo are merged to Bridge of Eldin not because they are Link characters, but they are minor stage hazards that fits perfectly fine with their associated article. Hazards like Banzai Bill, ? Block, and Skewer get their own page because they have made continuous appearances ever since their debut, unlike Moving Tree, which is confined to DS Luigi's Mansion. And just because we have articles on Bouncing Note and Roller doesn't make Moving Tree or these articles any more useful. 18:32, 22 July 2014 (EDT)

When you mentioned merging, I support you in that regard. It would fare much better in the Luigi's Mansion article. I wouldn't if we see it appearing as a returning obstacle in more than one place, but that's not the case. There are some other articles that should also be merged if this is though, so I'll see if they fare any better. As for this article, now that I'm actually giving a proper comment, I recommend what you say. This article could still stay as an article, but if it's not properly named and etc., we don't need it. It's like saying "Planet". - 01:29, 23 July 2014 (EDT)

Merge Moving Tree into Luigi's Mansion (course)
Settled TPP
passed
This affects all similar, insignificant stage hazards. This includes Roller (obstacle) and Bouncing Notes.
This article has little reason to be a standalone article.
#This stage hazard appears once only in this course and its remake, and it doesn't have an official name. Moving walls that crush Mario, that spaceship that shoots you in Spacedust Alley, mechanical Piranha Plants from Waluigi Stadium (GCN), the pinballs from Waluigi Pinball, the snowballs from DK Pass, the falling pillars from Dry Dry Desert, the drawbridge bell from Boulder Canyon, the giant dinosaur from Ancient Lake... they all do as much, and probably more, than those moving trees from Luigi's Mansion, but they don't have their own articles.
#We have articles on Roller and Bouncing Notes, but it does not justify keeping this and and these articles separate.
#It doesn't break policy, sure, but policy is not set in stone, nor is it always a surefire way to dictate which articles are necessary to keep. Fly, when it was a redundant page of Fly (move), doesn't break any policy. Dribble and Spitz's taxi doesn't break any policy.
##If there are any policy that deals on significance or notability, then I can technically argue that it does break policy, since such arguments are subjective.
#Other stage hazards, such as Wigglers, Chain Chomps, Banzai Bills, Monty Moles, and Gray Bowser Statues, have made much more appearances outside being a stage hazard in one course. Besides, the majority are iconic Mario enemies anyway. Moving Trees are none of the above.

#Mario These articles serve much better on their respective course articles, not as a standalone.
#Baby Luigi Per Mario
#Ninelevendo It would fare better on the courses article. Per Mariio.
#Tails777 Per Mario
#Vommack I think I commented on this a while back(probably on the forums), but there's no reason to keep these. Per all.
#Ghost Jam Per all.
#Tsunami Once again, I was about to say no, but after say Rollers I change idea. They are all stubs, right?
#Lord Grammaticus Per all, no real point to it.
#Koopakoolklub Per all, until they appear in more than one game.
#Joseph Per Mario' vommack' and tsunami.
#Megadardery Per Mario.
#SuperYoshiBros Why does this even exist... per all.
#Lumastar I know that it is a different wiki, but this is similar to the case with the Yellow Devil on SmashWiki. It used to have its own page, but it later was merged into the Wily Castle page. This article is also very short and provides little information on the subject. This page does not need to exist at all.
#'Shroom64 At least for the Roller and Moving Tree. They shouldn't have articles if the best they can get is three sentences.
#Yoshi876 Per Mario.
#The Super Mario Super User Per Mario.

The name is "Move Tree" as per the game's files nevertheless I support.-- 10:16, 27 July 2014 (EDT)
:That doesn't make it official, per se. The Shiverburn people are called "HellValleySkyTree", while some hazards are as simple as the Japanese words for "fire" or "obstacle". 15:07, 27 July 2014 (EDT)
@Tsunami: Nope not a single one of these articles are a stub, they are just merely short articles. Articles that stubs are ones that lack information. Yoshi876
