Since there's no way that shared abbreviation is a coincidence, I can only see this as an acknowledgement that "Volcano Plant" is a goof and that "Volcano Lotus" is the proper name for this enemy. This makes sense, since "Volcano Lotus" is overall a more fitting name given its relation to [[Lava Lotus]], not to mention ''SPP''<nowiki>'s</nowiki>  janky localization featuring "Boss P.
