Should this be moved to Unshelled Koopa Troopa? The name's been used twice now (albeit shortened to Unshelled Koopa the second time), and the current "Beach Koopa" title only appeared in that one Yoshi's Island guide. :I agree! This is pretty much a "berry" situation. I was considering to address that, but was reluctant because of the Bomber Bill situation. (though i think that's a different case entirely). -- 08:36, December 26, 2023 (EST)

::I agree that Bomber Bill is a different case. The name Banzai Bill has been used regularly since Super Mario World, even being used in-game, which can't be said for Beach Koopa, and then there's the Bomber/Boomer inconsistency. :::It's safe to say that "Beach Koopa" was just an one-off name, in the likes of "Mace Penguin", "Flopsy Fish", and such. -- 04:05, December 29, 2023 (EST)
:Considering this name did exist until August 13, 2022, shouldn't that be our cutoff date? The names have historically been used as they come into existence, so the current article looks messy to me. LinkTheLefty (talk) 10:02, January 25, 2024 (EST)

Shouldn't the name of this article be "Unshelled Koopa" because it was in the instruction manual for Super Mario World and MarioWiki:Naming lists the manual as a higher priority source than a website? 06:51, September 16, 2024 (EDT)
:I've thought the same thing. LinkTheLefty (talk) 12:57, September 16, 2024 (EDT)
::I know that's what would be correct according to source priority, but it still doesn't feel right to be prioritizing a decades-old name over a perfectly official modern name just because it's in a manual instead of a website. In any case, if the page IS moved to "Unshelled Koopa", then I'd rather "Unshelled" be capitalized throughout. Blinker (talk) 17:04, September 16, 2024 (EDT)
:::Capitalization's fine by me. 17:40, September 16, 2024 (EDT)
Moved. 06:56, September 19, 2024 (EDT)
