This stems from the discussion above.

Throughout all three games they appear in, Unlucky Spaces simply cause something bad to happen to the player who landed on it. Bad Luck Spaces, on the other hand, are more like successors to [[Bowser Space]]s from previous games, as they force the player to spin an event roulette; also, as Mario jc pointed out, they even have different Japanese names from each other. I was considering splitting this out already, but Mario jc suggested I just start a proposal anyways to ensure everyone is on board with the split (as well as my previous undiscussed split of [[VS Space]] and [[Minigame Space]]).

What's the point of making a proposal if it's just to reorganize the page? When I saw the split in the subject, I got angry. I disagree with this in every way. I know the Bad Luck spaces behave more like Bowser spaces, but they are still the opposite of the Lucky spaces. Plus, The Extra Bad Luck Spaces are even MORE like the Bowser Space. That Proposal to split the article into two is stupid. I do not see ANY difference between The Bad Luck Space and the Unlucky Space. I know they replace the Bowser Spaces, but, I'd say it is just a Bowser Space wannabe. Either way, It is still the opposite of the Lucky Space. If there are more of you who say They are not the same, What makes you think they are so different that the split was SO important to you all?

Okay, New rule, If the proposal fails, I suggest we could Use Super Mario Party stating to go to the Bad Luck Space For more information.

I get that you guys see the [[Bad Luck Space]] as a different Space than this one. But I still kind of want some sort of bridge between the two. Right now, it's a ONE-way bridge. I figured the other way could have a Super Mario Party section that says ''Main article: [[Bad Luck Space]]''. Whatever that kind of section is called, I think it should be there. It could end my little problem with the split once and for all.

It's already in the "See also" section, that's enough in my opinion. I'd rather see this added to the Bowser Space article than here.

::I think you're confused here. First of all, this proposal has absolutely nothing to do with merging articles, only adding sections on the Bowser Space and Unlucky Space articles that direct readers to the Bad Luck Space article. Second, you've been around here long enough to know that "merge these articles in the next few days" is not at all how proposals work. Also, no, they aren't the same thing. Bowser Spaces and Bad Luck Spaces cause a roulette to appear that makes a random event happen to the players. Unlucky Spaces cause specific pre-determined events that change by board, making it closer to an Event Space than either of those other spaces. This is why I've wanted the Bad Luck Space split this entire time - it's much closer to the Bowser Space than the Unlucky Space, but it's also not actually either of those spaces. You could make a case for merging Bowser Space and Bad Luck Space (which I disagree with, it's a functional replacement but not the same thing), but Unlucky Space is its own thing and should be left alone. --{{User:Waluigi Time/sig}} 15:08, October 20, 2020 (EDT)
