Okay, so this has been on my mind since the proposal to move several different Mario Kart tracks to their MKT names and it's still on my mind based on the B Dasher Mk. II's name change: the status of the Turbo Yoshi. As of Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, it is called the Super Yoshi, which makes it the most recent name. However, Mario Kart Tour is still introducing colored variants of this kart, all of which are still going by the Turbo Yoshi name (Red Turbo Yoshi, Blue Turbo Yoshi etc.) The first thought would be to move this page and really, I wouldn't make a proposal otherwise, as several other topics got moved without proposals, but that got me thinking; is the Super Yoshi actually the Turbo Yoshi or is it a similar looking kart? Based on looks, I think it's clear that it is the same kart, but I don't know if the names for the Super Yoshi are different in other languages than the Turbo Yoshi's. So I think a proposal is necessary for this, as there's also the idea of the colored variants in MKT to take into account. If anyone could look into the names of the Super Yoshi in MKL:HC, that's be awesome (as I know very little about proper translations).

#Archivist Toadette Per my comment below.
#Archivist Toadette Per my comment below.
#WildWario My current option.
#Tails777 I can agree to this as a secondary option
#Hewer I think Mario Kart Tour's variations of the Turbo Yoshi that were added after Home Circuit released but are still called Turbo Yoshi should probably count as the most recent name here.

I would like to ask, since we don't have pages for the Home Circuit specific karts, if the split option wins, what would we do? 21:44, December 26, 2021 (EST)

:I think this proposal needs more time in the oven, figuratively speaking. Since Mario Kart Tour is still ongoing, and there's still a chance this will be referred to as the "Turbo Yoshi" as opposed to its Live Home Circuit one-off name, it would have been better to hear other opinions from other users.

:That said, I think the "Super Yoshi" name is a mistake, much like "Ghost" referring to Polterpiranha, and thus should not be moved to that title. 00:02, December 27, 2021 (EST)

@WildWario Honestly, if that option did end up winning, I don't see why we don't create articles for the other Home Circuit Karts. While it doesn't seem like there's anything notable about them in terms of stats, Mario Kart Tour also technically doesn't have a stat system and the only notable thing separating some karts is their special abilities, some of which even share the same abilities as their base kart, such as the Blue Biddy Buggy, Bull's-Eye Banazai and Warship. If those can have articles based on different names and color palettes, I don't see why the Home Circuit karts can't.
:The karts of Mario Kart Tour have rarity, special skill, favored and favorite courses. The availability too is relevant information that is better to cover. While not standard stats except maybe for the skill, there is definitely information that is better conveyed in a separate page, to avoid humongous pages that are difficult to load.--Mister Wu (talk) 15:20, December 27, 2021 (EST)
Do we have the Japanese name of the Super Yoshi? I think we need to know if it's just a different translation of the same name.--Mister Wu (talk) 15:20, December 27, 2021 (EST)
:That's what I want to know; if the Japanese names (and any others) are otherwise different. I asked primarily because I know nothing about translating, as English is the only language I know.
:@Mister Wu I added the Japanese name to the page: スーパーヨッシー Super Yoshi. Landship also has a different Japanese name.<br>--PhGuy12 (talk) 17:20, December 27, 2021 (EST)
::Thanks. It makes me wonder if they're intended to be different karts based on iconic karts, the Landship is indeed very different, while the Super Yoshi has minor differences due to the camera placement. It's indeed one of those corner scenarios where we can't know why a different name was chosen specifically for Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit.--Mister Wu (talk) 18:27, December 27, 2021 (EST)
