| They are considered evil because one of their members (supposedly Dimentio) wrote the Dark Prognosticus. The book of darkness shows the future but nobody who reads it find happiness, meaning that the Tribe of Darkness destroyed the lives of those who read the book. Also, entire countries were destroyed trying to get the book, only to read about the battles they had fought, meaning the Dark Prognosticus is the main source of evil, and since the Tribe of Darkness created it, they were evil too. People might just think if they`re a Tribe of Darkness, they have to be bad, because nothing good comes from darkness. As Count Bleck and Dimentio are the evilest of all the tribe (intending to destroy all worlds, Bleck wishing to leave them that way and Dimentio intending to create his own world where he was the leader), people may think that every member of the tribe was evil. M&L | | They are considered evil because one of their members (supposedly Dimentio) wrote the Dark Prognosticus. | == Has it been confirmed that Castle Bleck was the same castle the Tribe of Darkness resided in? ==

| I recently rewrote the article to correct a lot of misinformation. One thing I changed that's been reverted is the castle they lived in linking to Castle Bleck. From what I've gathered, it's just a popular fan theory. I've played the game a lot and am very familiar with the lore, yet I don't remember any description, dialogue or even environmental storytelling confirming it (though keep in mind it was a few months ago I last played). Granted, it is a very reasonable fan theory and one I personally believe in, but it is just that, a fan theory. Is it perhaps mentioned in the original Japanese?Firegloom (talk) 06:39, January 6, 2025 (EST)

| :I actually wasn’t aware it was on the previous edit when I added it back. I suppose it’s never stated explicitly, though I do believe it’s heavily implied. It’s known as the "Dark Castle" in Japanese, much like the Tribe of Darkness (though it seems to be a different word for "dark" that’s used). Its primary enemies are the mysterious-in-origin Magiblots, whose appearances and Japanese names evoke the Shamans (Tribe of Ancients). It also explains where Count Bleck got his castle from, and it stands to reason they mentioned the castle in Carson’s dialogue for a reason. I’m not sure if the Japanese text is more clear on this or not. --Seandwalsh (talk) 10:21, January 6, 2025 (EST)

| ::I see! I'd say "Dark Castle" seems to more describe its appearance, instead of something like "Castle of Darkness" which I think would halfway confirm it, but I still think all the evidence (although quite weak) still warrents the theory a mention. But it should be clear it isn't confirmed, and in my opinion a link wrongly conveys it as a confirmed fact, even though Castle Bleck isn't even mentioned in the actual text. Even things as obvious as the last freedom fighter being the founder I still made sure to say it's only heavily implied, since it's technically never stated directly.
