ENGINEER = NOUN = (1) a person who designs, builds, or maintains engines, machines, or public works (2) the operator or supervisor of an engine, especially a railroad locomotive or the engine on an aircraft or ship. So, <tt>\romfs\msg\US_English_Final\msg.msbp</tt> lists styles and formatting for various characters. One of these is <tt>Kinopio_engineer</tt>. It comes between <tt>[[Oarsman|Kinopio_Sailor]]</tt> and <tt>[[Professor Toad|Kinopio_Archeology]]</tt>, and the Toads are listed in order of appearance, so I'm pretty sure it refers to this one. Would "Engineer Kinopio" or "Engineer Toad" work as a name? (I'm actually not sure if we translate this or not, considering [[Informant Snifit]] does and [[Bridge Kinopio]] doesn't.) {{User:Scrooge200/sig}} 21:16, June 22, 2021 (EDT)

I was going to just mark this as resolved due to inactivity, but this raises a good question... why is there inconsistency between [[Informant Snifit]] and [[Bridge Kinopio]]? Should the former be moved? I would also say sure to moving this page to "Kinopio engineer", though I do want to hear some more thoughts on this first. :Just as I thought I should go ahead and make the move to "Kinopio engineer" (as official names, even dev names, are preferrable to conjectural names), I realize the [[Sunset Express conductor]] would have to be renamed to "Engineer Kinopio"... yeah, I'm not sure what to do here. I'm going to go ahead and move "Informant Snifit" to "Informant Mūcho" and mark it from being from dev data though.
