| The discussion above operated on the assumption that Tetris DS was a part of the Mario franchise proper. However, as it has been recently ruled, Tetris DS is considered a guest appearance, meaning that only the distinctly Mario aspects of the game are covered. With that in mind, this page does not have a substantial justification for being on the wiki. It goes without saying that Tetriminos have nothing to do with the Mario franchise in and of themselves, and their only appearance in anything that we cover on the wiki is in Tetris (another guest appearance) and Tetris & Dr. Mario (clearly a package deal, as the elements between the games don't interact). The Tetrimino has not made a single appearance in a proper Mario title, and it is not itself related to the Mario franchise; therefore, this page should be deleted.

| They did appear in a texture in Shy Guy's Toy Box (which also appears unused in Advance 4), so they've technically made an appearance in the franchise, but it's not worth having an article over.
