With the recent Nintendo Switch remake of ''The Thousand-Year Door'' having incorporated the "hint"/"advice" system from the post-''Super Paper Mario'' games alongside Goombella's field tattles, as a separate mechanic with its own proper name, I feel that we should probably reconsider doing a more formal split accordingly, or at least consider further deconflating the two in this article if the former still isn't notable enough for a proper one of its own. While there has been a decent amount of overlap in terms of function in the past, to the point where the aforementioned remake felt the need to remove several hints present in the original game's field tattles to avoid redundancy, I do feel that the way it was handled there in particular is pretty solid evidence that the ''Paper Mario'' developers do in fact consider them to be distinct things, at least presently.
