I don't think this should be merged. It's a form of Toad, just like [[Fire Mario]]'s a form of Mario; we aren't going to merge those two articles, are we? {{User:YellowYoshi398/sig}}

I suppose I don't have the greatest reason to stop this page from being merged, but I am indeed opposed to the merge as I think it does indeed merit an article. Well, this is a long time coming. This article deals with the issue regarding Super Toad's reason to be an article in the first place. For context, ''this is literally'' the ''Super Show!'''s equivalent of Fire Toad. When it comes to power-up form pages in general, we usually just put them in the same article as "X-form Mario". The [[Fire Mario]] page does not split the various different characters that have the Fire Power and Toad should be no different.

As for what we do, this proposal suggests we move this to [[Fire_Mario#The_Super_Mario_Bros._Super_Show!|the section of the Fire Mario page that covers the appearance in that show]]. The Super Toad name could actually be turned into a redirect for [[Super Mario (form)|Super Mario]] as we do have the Toads in the ''Super Mario'' games but we do acknowledge the Super Toad name at the top of the article and link it to that section to Fire Mario's article.

About the redirect, [[Super Yellow Toad]], [[Super Blue Toad]], [[Super Peach]], [[Super Rosalina]] and [[Super Toadette]] are redirects to [[Super Mario (form)]] that exist (see [[Special:WhatLinksHere/Super Mario (form)]]) and I presume that that is because those are terms that can be used to refer to the form that those characters take after gulping a [[Super Mushroom]]; in ''[[SM3DW]]'', our "[[Small Mario|Small]] [[Rosalina]]" can munch a Sup Shroom, and with that she will take the form of "Super Rosalina", thus why does that redirect exist, and so on with the other characters in the games that apply. And well, that same thing can be applied to our Toad guy; in ''[[SMB2]]'', ''SM3DW'', ''[[SMR]]'' and ''[[SMM2]]'' there is "Small Toad" and "''Super Toad''". While the TV series' Super Toad is something that exist, and the "Super Toad" term can be applied to both the Super form of Toad in platforming games and to that TV series' Fire Toad one, I think that if Super Toad is a redirect to Fire Mario, it would be giving more weight to the TV series' Super Toad than the platforming games' one, and sincerely, at least to me the platforming series' Super Toad is much more relevant and has much more weight than the TV series' one. So, if [[Super Toad]] becomes a redirect, it should be to [[Super Mario (form)]] as that would be in line with the platforming games' Super Toad, which has way more weight and is much more relevant than the TV series' Super Toad.<br> I have thought about the disambiguation possibility brought up [[#Comments|below]], specially by seeing that [[Super Luigi]] is a disambig too instead of a redirect to Super Mario (form), but as Super Toad only refers to two topics, I think that a disambiguation wouldn't be so relevant. Additionally, there's a disambiguation page for [[Super Mario]] that lists that iteration of Super Mario (to be fair "Super Mario" has a lot more iterations than "Super Toad"). Some people are going to see the Super Toad fire form, some people might see the Super Toad form in the games, so I think there should be a disambig for this; after all, Super Mario has one, and that page does list the fire form from the show.
