Having original write-ups for each fighter in a series with mechanics as complex as Smash is a slippery slope to strategy-based writing, overly long descriptions, or worse, personal opinions and bias, many of which I already see forming here; Mario's description refers to three of his moves as being "great",  while Joker and Hero's descriptions have become very long as a result of the unique mechanics of both fighters. I'm just going to document what [[User:Prpro&#61;03|PrPro03]] wrote in their edit summaries regarding the descriptions (before these get lost over time) - while the base characters' descriptions are from the ''SSBU'' website blog, the DLC fighters' descriptions come from the DLC page of the website, and Piranha Plant's comes from the eShop.
