Assuming I would like to write something about every single level in the game, how should this be done in your opinion? 12 articles for 12 stages or rather put the information [[Birabuto Kingdom|in]] [[Muda Kingdom|the]] [[Easton Kingdom|kingdom]] [[Chai Kingdom|articles]]? :You can give the levels made-up names and label them with {{Tem|Conjecture}}, but I would recommend putting the information in the kingdom articles, as we've done with SMB3 level info. {{User:YellowYoshi398/sig}}

==Wario connection...==

Where exactly was it said that Wario had set up the whole thing? I don't remember ever hearing that until just recently when I looked on here, and I've played both the first and second Mario Land multiple times... didn't Wario just say that he took Mario's castle while he was busy in Sarasaland, and not that he actually set the whole thing up?

:Guides are official. Wether it was in it or not, I have no idea. It was officially stated somewhere, I'm sure of it, unfortunately, I'm not that good at remembering. Guides ARE official, by the way. We can consider them canonical as well. {{User:Pokemon DP/sig}}
::Hmm... didn't know about the policy on guides; then again my only experience with Nintendo's strategy guides is the Pokémon ones, which are usually so full of obvious mistakes that they're basically useless (only good part is that they have pictures of each Pokémon all in one place.)  If the Mario guides are on a higher level of quality than that, though, then I guess there's nothing wrong with using info from them.

:::I actually don't think this is stated officially anywhere.  It is however, implied, given that Tatanga works for Wario in SML 2.  However, this needs to be changed all over the wiki.  I know the instruction manual only says Wario took control of Mario's castle while Mario was away, not that Wario hired Tatanga. ::FD09's absolutely right about the Fighter Fly thing, Tatanga's reappearance and Daisy's ''SSB'' trophies. The submarine stuff might be worth keeping since ''SML'' '''was''' the first to do it, and for all we know Nintendo could have decided to recycle that idea, but since we don't know for sure, maybe it would be better to put it in the Trivia, or better yet, in the [[Marine Pop]]'s Trivia. As for the big ''SMB'' section, I actually think there's some valid points there: ''SML'' unabashedly paid homage to the original ''SMB'', and ignoring that would be a mistake. The battle against [[King Totomesu]] ''was'' very similar to the Bowser fights (the other battles weren't, though, and shouldn't be mentioned), and the Daisy fake-out was undeniably ''SML''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s version of the Toads - the fact that it involved fake enemies like the False Bowsers may or may not have been done on purpose, but regardless of intent, it ''is'' an interesting point that is worth bringing to the readers' attentions. The stuff about what happens after being the game is pointless, though, so it can be cut. :::The submarine part is really common sense, what else are they going to drive underwater, an airplane? I somewhat agree with the parts of the Daisy and the Toads by the way it sounds, but I haven't played SML so I can't bash half these answers/problems. Okay, the article states the game was not developed by Nintendo EAD but by Nintendo R&D1, yet the infobox states the developer is Nintendo EAD. Also, in the Nintendo EAD article, Super Mario Land is on the list of Mario games they developed.

Nintendo on their Japanese 30th anniversary website has posted "the history of the super mario series." All the games considered canon are still on the list, however the Super Mario Land games (specifically the first mario land and six golden coins)are added. Since this is indeed an official source by Nintendo, we have no choice but to edit this and the "Super Mario Land series" article to fit this official picture by Nintendo. If there is any reason why we should deny this official source please speak up. Here is the official source.
