A few months ago, there was [[MarioWiki:Proposals/Archive/72#Normalise_splitting_long_References_to.2Fin_other_media_sections|a failed proposal]] to split off long references sections. With that in mind, I'm following up with a reversal of the above proposal that split [[list of references to Super Mario Bros.]] into its own page. Basically, the follow-up proposal failed because we already have the [[MarioWiki:Article size|article size]] guideline to determine when to split long pages. Although the references in later media list was somewhat lengthy, the page prior to its removal was only ~93k bytes, far below the 150k byte minimum before considering a split. Re-merging would be consistent with the majority view in that proposal as well as our article size guideline. | A few months ago, there was [[MarioWiki:Proposals/Archive/72#Normalise_splitting_long_References_to.2Fin_other_media_sections|a failed proposal]] to split off long references sections.
