Where is the alleged relation to Thwomps sourced from? The [https://archive.org/details/Nintendo_Players_Guide_GB_Legend_of_Zelda_The_Links_Awakening/page/n101/mode/2up Player's Guide] <small>(archive.org)</small> doesn't state it; Stone Elevator's similarity to a Thwomp in both appearance and behavior is very loose (it's a stony platform that moves up and down, and not really by its volition); and [[Mega Thwomp]], which Stone Elevator seems to derive its Japanese name from (''Doshin'' -> ''Oshin''), itself is only indulgently described by said guide as being related to the ''Mario'' Thwomp (''Dossun'' in Japanese). In short, it's an ill-defined derivative of yet another derivative of an enemy that originates from a different franchise. {{User:Koopa con Carne/Sig}} 20:13, February 5, 2023 (EST)

:Yeah, I'm not sure if this article should be kept, nor even any of the other Thwomp variants that only appear in the Zelda games for that matter. Not sure if there are any plans for a BowWow article for one thing. {{User:Swallow/sig}} 20:23, February 5, 2023 (EST)
