The Star Sprites aren't like normal stars. They, in case you haven't noticed, are different. I think it should be split into a new page titled, "Star Sprite".{{User:Dry dry king/sig}}

There's so much mingling across languages for these entities that effectively have the same role. Not only are the Star Sprites sometimes identified as Star Spirits (or star spirits), the spirit of the Cobalt Star (ie the elder Princess Shroob) is repeatedly identified as a Star Sprite despite visually being a knockoff [[Misstar]]. I think rather than being awkwardly tacked on to this page, the M&L info should be merged to Star Spirits (and perhaps have that moved to the singular). :::So? Other countries' localizations don't necessarily have to dictate how we cover things, and while the Japanese names mean the same thing, they're not the same. The Star Sprites also look absolutely ''nothing'' like the Star Spirits. That Cobalt Star spirit may look like Misstar, but since its a fake, it's not related to the Star Sprites or the Star Spirits despite sharing a name with the former. :::::I personally feel that the fact that said Japanese names are both generic nouns (suta and hoshi have been interchanged more than once in regards to Mario stars) and the "star power" being amplified by "wish power" (Twink in the final battle of PM64, Starlow early in BiS and late in DT, all courtesy of Peach), along with the similar role and seeming connection to Star Hill (regardless of whether the particular Star Sprite was fake) is enough for a merge. But I digress. I also believe the alternate design is so Starlow can be more expressive, but again, digression. I can revisit this later after stirring up something more concrete, I suppose. As long as we agree that the Star Sprite info deserves more than to be awkwardly tacked-on here, I suppose we agree on the important issue. I do insist that PiT be mentioned for Star Sprite by virtue of it being the first to use the phrase (it's repeatedly used as a proper noun in PiT's script).
