| When I race and I am in 1st place, especially Wi-Fi, sometimes I get a Mushroom from an [[item box]]. Seconds later, a Blue Spiny Shell comes ready to kill me. A well-timed use of the Mushroom is pretty much the only way to escape the explosion unharmed, as mentioned in the article. | ::::It may appear more often, but when someone says "Spiny Shell" 90% think about the Mario Kart one. The Spiny's shell appearances besides Paper Mario and Mario Strikers games are very minor : they are just worn by Spinies.
