Okay let's not make any more edit skirmishes about this. How is their name based off of Spiny's Japanese name? They are based off of Hammer Bro and look nothing like spiny, and "toge" is just a term for "spiky". And unlike Bros., "Toge" is not a consistent species-indicative naming scheme. These guys are prickly so they're "Toge", like how mister sea-urchin-with-feet is "Toge" in Japanese just because it's prickly. I don't see the Togezo connection here. Somethingone (talk) 11:07, May 6, 2022 (EDT) | Okay let's not make any more edit skirmishes about this. :As Doc says, Spinies are known for retracting in their shells and spinning out on their own in the odd appearance, starting with Super Mario Bros. 3. This is very similar to the behavior of this boss. I'm in the "why not" camp here. Doesn't hurt to mention. ::SMB3 Spinies drop from the ceiling and spin upside-down. This thing's behavior is more comparable to SMW Ludwig. 14:15, May 6, 2022 (EDT) | ::SMB3 Spinies drop from the ceiling and spin upside-down. :::You can make them spin rightside-up. Anyways, I still think there's enough of a possibility it was meant to be named for both it should stay.
