On Page 116 of the Nintendo Player's Guide, under the header '''Slimy Key''', this enemy is described as follows: "''If you entered Door Two in King Bowser's Castle, you need to find a key to continue on your journey. The key is being held by Salvo the Slime, the guardian of the first world. Load up on eggs prior to entering Salvo's chamber. The slime surrenders after six hits.''" The above quote seems self-explanatory: we don't have any indication that the "Slime" miniboss is separate from Salvo the Slime/Big Slime. | The above quote seems self-explanatory: we don't have any indication that the "Slime" miniboss is separate from Salvo the Slime/Big Slime. | ||

Page 115: "You know what to do when you see a Slime - pelt it with Eggs until it disappears. The enemy will cough up a needed Key after you finish your work." The guide really treats the other Slimes as a separate entity, which seems fair considering it always leads in with the species' transformative abilities. {{User:Time Turner/sig}} | Page 115: "You know what to do when you see a Slime - pelt it with Eggs until it disappears. :Good find. I ''would'' be inclined to go with newer material when that suggests contradictory information, but having a nearly identical Slime species raises the question of whether or not the [[Slime Time|Big Slimes]] of ''Mario Party 4'' are supposed to be the species or a direct reference to the character (since they actually use Salvo's unlocalized name, and it's not out of place when there are at least two King Bob-ombs). None of the other enchanted ''Yoshi's Island'' bosses have same species counterparts either, so having the nearly identical Salvo (which transformed from a Lemon/Slime Drop) and a generic Slime (which transforms from...blocks?) is a bit confusing. I think I'll leave this up so it's decided formally; in any case, both guides should be referenced in the article(s), even if one is considered outdated or a mistake.
