The Japanese name for these levels is "Slider," a name that is also used in Super Mario Galaxy 2 to describe Tall Trunk's Big Slide and the Rolling Coaster Galaxy. Should the coverage be expanded to include them as well? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 16:10, March 12, 2020 (EDT)

:Additionally, the minigame Bobsled Run from MP1 and MP2 has this name, but not the music in either iteration. Other uses are Razzle-Dazzle Slider, Piranha Plant Slide, Leafboard Hoard, Cash Flow, and H2-Woah! Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 11:55, April 15, 2020 (EDT)

::As far as I know, 「スライダー」 (suraidā, slider) is just another word for a slide, usually as a noun; for example, "water slide" in English equates to 「ウォータースライダー」 (wōtā suraidā, water slider) in Japanese. We could expand the article to describe the level archetype in general, but if we do, I think we should make sure all slides are accounted for, not just ones called "slider" (though I don't have any examples off the top of my head). I was also thinking that the Cabin's Snow Slide and Mysterious Mountain Slide possibly be split from the article since they're notable sub-areas, especially if the article would no longer just be about the Super Mario 64 slides.
