This IS the true title, I've heard it somewhere in a Mario source...{{user:Crypt Raider/sig}}
:I checked the manuals of the games mentioned in the article; SMB3 and SMW refer to it as "Sliding Down A Slope", and NSMB simply calls it "Slide". Just wanted to note that. {{User:Time Q/sig}} 12:21, 15 February 2008 (EST)

This is in light of a comment I made directly above that garnered no attention whatsoever.

So...where exactly did "Slope Slide" come from? I don't think it's an official name at all. In fact, we should probably just name this article "Slide" anyways, since it's called that in the ''New Super Mario Bros.'' and ''New Super Mario Bros. Wii'' instruction booklets, as well as the ''New Super Mario Bros. 2'' Prima guide.
