OK, what we have here are some pretty clearly blue coins for SMB3 and NSMB, which work like the blue coins from SM64 and the later NSMB games, and are distinctly blue, and not silver. Addmitedly, it's a metallic blue instead of a deep blue, but they're still blue. Are they ''called'' "silver" in those games? (EDIT: I see that's the case for Advanced 4) If that's the case, I'd like to direct your attention to the [[Red Boo]] page, which has primarily pink and orange examples. :Bumping this. I suggest what should happen is that the SMB3 and NSMB versions should be treated as old names for [[Blue Coin]], as the ones in those games are in fact blue and act the same as later Blue Coins, while the SMW ones should be split to "Gray Coin," as that seems to be what they're called in that game, as well as not acting like the others on this or that page in any way beyond pressing a switch to make them appear, as said switch causes enemies to turn into the coins, not to mention the extra life detail. These "Silver" Coins are not silver at all, with the exception of the ''Diddy Kong Racing'' ones. As Alex95 said above, Nintendo Power called the NSMB ones Blue Coins, with the name "Silver Coin" being used for the SMA4 guide from a few years earlier, while the item itself is pretty clearly the same thing. There's also the fact that the ones in all versions of SMB3 and in NSMB are, in fact, a light cyan, which is a shade of blue. Then, there's the point of them being special coins that only appear in specific places for a limited time when a blue switch is pressed, just like the Blue Coins of ''Super Mario 64'' and the later NSMB games. So these coins are not silver, are blue, and act like most other depictions of Blue Coins.

As for the ''Super Mario World'' ones, the only name we have for them seems to be "Gray Coin," and they seem more grey than silver themselves. Additionally, they only act tenuously similar to the "silver" coins of the other games mentioned on this page, being that they only appear after a switch is pressed, but with very different specifics (ie from most enemies, and with a 1up obtained after collecting 7). So they seem to be a different thing.

Anyways, the only thing that should remain on this page, in my opinion, is the ''Diddy Kong Racing'' item.

For some additional info, these are some Japanese names from ESMB for the Coins in question.<br>
SMB3 Silver Coin: 隠しコイン; Hidden Coin<br>
SMW Silver Coin: シルバーコイン; Silver Coin<br>
NSMB Blue Coin: 青コイン; Blue Coin

So SMB3 Silver Coins behave like NSMB Blue Coins but have a different Japanese name (making it either the same object with a changed name or a different one with similar functions), and SMW Silver Coins '''are''' named such in a Japanese source so moving it to "Gray Coin" wouldn't be a good move imo. 	One note about ''Encyclopedia Super Mario Bros.'' (41) is that despite the name of the ''Super Mario Bros. 3'' object translating to hidden coin, the description introduces it as 「青色のコイン。」 (Blue-colored coins.) So "silver" is not the intended color.
