#Turkishcoffee The games were developed entirely separately and don't seem to have much continuity between them. Even if they both had the same name, wouldn't they be entirely different places anyway? | #Turkishcoffee The games were developed entirely separately and don't seem to have much continuity between them. #Baby Mario Bloops Per all. They don't have as much common as everyone thinks, and translations can be missleading between some areas that sound alike. | #Baby Mario Bloops Per all. #Koopalmier Shooting Star Summit and Star Hill have different names and appearance. The Shooting Star Hill (mis-translated Star Hill then Shooting Star Summit) appeared in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and in Paper Mario, and stars (actually wishes) are falling on it. Star Hill only appeared in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time and is only a path to the Star Shrine. M&L2's Star Hill has nothing to do with shooting stars and wishes. The Shooting Star Summit is dark blue - purple while the Star Hill is light blue. I think that all this is enough to prove that those are different places. | |||

::::The name is less of a name and more of a description. It's a hill on which stars fall. Hence, "the falling star hill". Japanese has no articles, so we can't be sure if this is correct, or it's actually the origin of a proper name. Aside from the name I don't see anything similar to otherwise indicate that the places are the same. In fact, I'm thinking the Star Hill in Super Mario RPG is sort of in space / the cloud (but I haven't played that in a while so I could be very, very wrong there). If anything it seems more like Paper Mario Star Haven. Wishes don't go to Shooting Star Summit, they go to the star kids and star spirits in Star Haven (which is in the clouds / space). -- 02:46, 7 May 2010 (EDT) | ::::The name is less of a name and more of a description.
