I don't care what the guide says. These things have faces and tiny arms, are transparent, glow, and their models match up with the "Ball" model with the colors resembling the fish from the "Let's Go Fishin'" children's game. They're ghosts. The guide is just plain ''wrong''. {{User|Doc von Schmeltwick}} 00:20, 31 August 2017 (CT)

:For what it's worth, the Player's Guide and Versus guide don't call it a ghost, but the Prima and BradyGames guides do. I'd cite them more thoroughly, but I'm currently on my phone and I'd rather do that when I have access to a computer. {{User:Time Turner/sig}} 01:29, 31 July 2017 (EDT)
:Full citations for each guide:
*Player's Guide: "While there are no ghosts in the observatory, you can get hit by a falling star. Watch out!" (Page 59, George Sinfield)
*Prima Games: "The plan is to suck up a tiny yellow ghost (these keep traveling down the screen), then fire it at the moon!" (Page 91, David S. J. Hodgson and Bryan Stratton)
*BradyGames: "Use the vacuum to suck up and hold a yellow ghost. Hold the R Button and aim the small yellow ghost at the moon in the distance. Release the R Button to shoot the small yellow ghost at the moon." (Page 91, Tim Bogenn)
*Versus Books: "There are no enemies in this room, just a telescope and a weird puzzle." [...] "Go out to the ledge and suck up a falling star with your vacuum, then aim it at the moon and release." (Page 47, Casey Loe)

::Beatin' a dead horse discussion here but: LM3DS is out and it refers to them as Shining Ghosts in its small ghost list, with the description "A ghost in the Observatory who falls like a shooting star." (can get pictures if needed) With that in mind, what should we do about moving the page? Just move it to Shining Ghost since that takes higher priority over the Player's Guide anyway? I'd do it myself but it's almost 5 AM here and I'm tired. - [[User:Turboo|Turboo]] ([[User talk:Turboo|talk]]) 07:42, 13 October 2018 (EDT)
