::Makes sense to me. I think you can go ahead and move it.

Rename Shadow back to Shadow (enemy), and rename either Shadow (character) or Shadow (disambiguation) to Shadow in its place
TPP
One particular proposal has determined that crossover characters should have their article names shortened to their most commonly used name. This led to Shadow the Hedgehog's article to be renamed to Shadow (character), resulting in the awkward current position of this well-known Sonic the Hedgehog character that's been a playable character in a variety of Mario and Sonic crossover games, being given inferiority over... some random Super Mario RPG enemy.
That's like if the Peach redirect was one to Peach (item) instead of Princess Peach. I'm pretty sure someone would more likely look for the Sonic character that was in a bunch of Mario games, over an enemy from one game's early dungeon, when they search for "Shadow".
To be fair though, said game's gotten a remake a year ago, so it might be recent enough to be in someone's mind still, and there might be precedence against giving a crossover character the priority here. So I have two options:
#Give Shadow the Hedgehog the priority
#Give our "Shadow" disambiguation page the priority
In any case, the current "Shadow" article should be moved to "Shadow (enemy)" (or "Shadow (Super Mario RPG)" in case we get another enemy named "Shadow"), because I don't think this minor enemy should be prioritized over a major crossover character (but, I'm okay with the two entities being given equal priority), hence the inclusion of the second option

Option 1: Move the SMRPG enemy to "Shadow (enemy)", move Shadow (character) to "Shadow"
#Arend Per proposal.
Option 2: Move the SMRPG enemy to "Shadow (enemy)", move Shadow (disambiguation) to "Shadow"
#Arend Also per proposal.
#Hewer A little surprised this needs a proposal but sure, I support this. Red and Ninja are good examples for precedent.
#LittleLum Per proposal.
#Jdtendo If there's no clear-cut way to tell which of the two Shadows is the more prominent subject, we might as well make "Shadow" a disambiguation page.
#Rykitu Per all.
#Technetium I still think we should just focus on a proposal to unshorten the names, but sure why not on this. Especially since I assume Shadow the Hedgehog would need to be listed on the Shadow disambiguation page too.
#FanOfYoshi Rename back to Shadow the Hedgehog!
Option 3: Keep the SMRPG enemy as "Shadow"
Comments (Shadow)
