:I suppose it does, but I don't own the game, so I don't know if it's actually a location. -- 11:50, 1 March 2013 (EST)

Not quite, there are regional differences between th European and American versions.  In the version the writer has and that I have, it's called Scarab Nabber.  I think we'll have to start adding the regional name differences to the Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon pages at some point.

I don't really think the Scarescraper is in Evershade Valley, it sint specified and seems to be in the same dimension where the Tough Possessor. Should we change it? - Cubeguy(talk)

:Its located in the Evershade Valley because there are the same ghosts like in the Valley and you can see the Dark Moon in the artwork.

passed
Looking through the wiki, I've seen several of the ghosts for the ScareScrapers, notably the recolors of the original five (Bomb Brother, Beetle Whisperer, Terrible Teleporter, Primordial Goo, Creeper Launcher), and they're all pretty much bare. The only notable difference between the other bosses is that they're recolored. They all attack the same and they all have the same HP, nothing changes about them. What I'm proposing to do is merge the recolors into their respective boss ghost articles. Really, I don't want fifty different articles that tell me the same thing. That means simply redirecting them, such as Fright Knight to Bomb Brother#Fright Knight, Sun Flower to Beetle Whisperer#Sun Flower, etc. It may look a little messy at first, but that's not a problem for a few good editors and probably some coding. My apologies if the wording sounds a bit weird.

Can someone remove some of the ghosts in one section of the infobox? it's harder to read it if there is too many. -- 14:44, 16 July 2013 (EDT)

:The only problem is that it is all necessary, as it needs to list all of the ghosts that appear in the ScareScraper, just like Gloomy Manor, Haunted Towers, Old Clockworks, Secret Mine and Treacherous Manor. Removing some of those ghosts would mean we'd be supplying untrue information. Yoshi876

I wonder if it is really necessary to hold together some ghosts. In the proposal last year vowed to join them, but now I doubt they are coming. Is it really necessary? Perhaps it would be better to separate them? --Sonic98 (talk) 04:46, 6 July 2014 (EDT)
Is this a mechanic?
I just got into the ScareScraper mode a week or so ago, and have been playing it solo. Once I unlocked it, I tried playing an Endless Hunter game (my mistake), and failed on the first boss, which happened to be the Beetle Whisperer. In the one or two games of 25-floor Hunter I played afterward, (maybe I failed a game before the fifth floor, but got there the next time?) I found the Beetle Whisperer again and successfully caught it. While I thought this was just a lucky coincidence, today, I observed a similar, but more notable occurrence.
I had failed two more Endless Hunter fifth floors (I am stubborn), against a Leoprank and some Fright Knights. Frustrated that I failed to catch them, I went to a 25-floor Hunter game to hopefully get something new for my catalogue...and both the Leoprank and the Fright Knights showed up in that very game.
Does the game make it easier to find the "ones that got away" again by prioritizing their spawn rate if they are missed? It seems less coincidental when the two ghosts I missed show up in the game I play directly afterward. I had 22 ghosts collected already, and had been running into about two repeats per 4 bosses by that point, so it stands out even more. For what it's worth, the other two bosses in that game were also new, so maybe repeats were overridden?
Would someone be willing to investigate this, and with different modes or difficulties? The Primordial Goo was the first boss I fought and failed, on a ten-floorer Hunter, but I didn't see it again for a while, so I don't know how it works. Honestly, I highly doubt it. I've played a LOT of Scarescraper, and something even close to this only happened once. It's likely a coincidence. WillowTehKitsune (talk) 13:01, April 6, 2021 (EDT)
Luigi's Mansion 3 Ghosts
Should we add the rare ghosts from Luigi's Mansion 3? They seem to be exclusive to the ScareScraper mode.
