Given how they look in the [[:File:SandBlockMVDK.png|remake]] and that they give little indication of being sand outside of ''Sunshine'', I think the non-respawning ''Donkey Kong'' version might instead be [[Crumble Block]]. -:::I've done some work on [[Falling Platform|one of the platforms part of this discussion]], and cursorily, It seems like the relationship between it and these [[Crumble Block]]s is analogous to the one between [[Cloud Lift]]s and [[Cloud Block]]s, and I would prefer keeping them split. I know there is an example of one of these blocks being called a "crumbling walkway," but the impression I have is that that was an informal name adopted by Prima Games for the ''Super Mario Odyssey'' guidebook because they they swap it out with several other names in several instances.
