[https://twitter.com/Nijimuler33/status/1876672506037489869 Saw a Japanese tweet that possibly explains Reclusa's JPN name "Bocchiani"] coming from Bocchi + ANI, the abbreviation for Artificial Narrow Intelligence.  There's no definitive source for this but it suggests a more fitting origin for his name than the Italian "-ciani" bit. Would it be acceptable to update the page with this description? Sometimes the etymology for characters' JPN names feel like they come from an unsourced presumption anyways. {{User:Falltimefog/sig}} 16:14, January 13, 2025 (EST) 23:43, January 12, 2025 (EST)

:It seems unlikely to me that the "-āni" part comes from the initialism "ANI" because I would expect it to be pronounced "Ay En Eye" (each letter pronounced separately) rather than "āni". It seems more likely that "Botchiāni" is supposed to evoke an Italian-sounding name, something like "Bocciani". {{User:Jdtendo/sig}} 01:30, January 13, 2025 (EST)
